What we build

Every trade. One crew.

Real projects. Real photos.

Every image below is a real PrimeWest build — not a stock photo, not a rendering. If you want to see one of them in person, we’ll arrange it.

How we work

A boring process. On purpose.

Bad contractors surprise you. Good contractors bore you. Every PrimeWest job runs the same disciplined four-step playbook so you always know what’s next.

Step 01

Walk-Through & Scope

We meet at the property, walk the scope, take real measurements, and leave with a clear brief — not a guesstimate.

Step 02

Fixed-Bid Estimate

We come back with a line-itemed, fixed-bid estimate inside 5 business days. No “allowances” hiding surprises.

Step 03

Build & Update

Weekly Friday update with photos, progress, and any decisions we need from you. No ghosting, no scope creep.

Step 04

Punch & Close-Out

We walk the finished work with you, correct every punch item, then hand over a full warranty packet.

Where we build

Anywhere on the Wasatch Front.

PrimeWest is based in American Fork and builds across Utah County and southern Salt Lake County. If your lot is within 45 minutes of our shop, we can get there — usually with the same crew lead running it.

Answers

Questions we hear every week.

What areas does PrimeWest Construction serve?
PrimeWest Construction builds across Utah County and the greater Wasatch Front, including American Fork, Alpine, Highland, Cedar Hills, Pleasant Grove, Lehi, Saratoga Springs, Eagle Mountain, Orem, Provo, Draper, Sandy, and surrounding cities.
What types of projects does PrimeWest take on?
Custom home builds, whole-home and bathroom remodels, additions, custom millwork and built-ins, covered decks and outdoor living, and commercial tenant build-outs. If it’s a general contractor job on the Wasatch Front, we’ve probably done one like it.
Are you licensed and insured in Utah?
Yes. PrimeWest Construction is a Utah-licensed general contractor, fully insured, and operates under the Welch Companies family of construction brands — which also includes PrimeWest Carpentry and West Desert Roofing.
How long does a custom home typically take?
Most custom homes run 10–14 months from design lock to move-in, depending on lot, finish level, and permitting timeline. We give you a realistic, line-itemed schedule before ground breaks, not after.
Do you handle permits and engineering?
Yes. We manage engineering, structural review, HOA approvals, city permits, and inspections as part of the scope. You sign one contract — we coordinate the rest.
How do I request a quote?
Call or text (385) 505-4031, or use the form below. We respond same-day on weekdays and usually have a walk-through scheduled within the same week.
